Brief
Coca Cola Hellenic required an innovative shelving FSDU design to hold a substantial quantity of their traditional Coca Cola bottles, for a Christmas trade show in Ireland. The unit must have a festive fun appearance and reflect the recogniseable Coca Cola Christmas branding.
Coca Cola Hellenic required an innovative shelving FSDU design to hold a substantial quantity of their traditional Coca Cola bottles, for a Christmas trade show in Ireland. The unit must have a festive fun appearance and reflect the recogniseable Coca Cola Christmas branding.
Execution
I chose the traditional Coca Cola truck to form the structure of the FSDU, because of its iconic status. An internal white corrugated cardboard shelving structure was designed to support the weight of the bottles. Then the corrugated structure was cladded with a display board wrap, giving the curved clean lines of the trucks body. The cab design was simplified to allow it to be created in 3D and the bonnet formed a natural header to hold the Christmas message.
