Execution
Using a 3D fiberglass dragon head as the focal point, a replica dragon boat was created, by building a strong wooden internal structure, clad with foam PVC graphic panels. The sail utilised a sturdy metal Dexion framework, wrapped with a mesh banner and tied in position with natural rope. A vinyl water graphic was applied to the decking area to replicate a sea effect. The finished boat received very positive feedback from both 20th Century Fox and the general public visiting Bluewater shopping centre.
